End Of Life

When your animal companion is approaching the end of its life, it can be a very stressful and difficult time for the family. I can provide support and guidance to help you through this challenging period. Once the decision has been made to say goodbye to your beloved pet, home euthanasia allows for a peaceful and stress-free passing. Your pet is able to be in a safe and familiar place, comforted by the presence of family. This also allows you to experience a more private and comfortable setting in your companion's final moments.

This service includes the house call, review of the medical records, patient assessment, injection of a sedative plus pain medication, euthanasia and transport for cremation. I can arrange cremation services according to your wishes.

$375- 425 +HST depending on the size of your pet, cremation fees are extra and depend on whether your pet is cremated individually with the ashes returned or communal cremation is selected and the ashes are buried at a cemetery maintained by Gateway Pet Memorial.

“If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went.”
